# Peristaltic Pumps Not Turning On

Hi all,

I am working on getting an eVOLVER experiment set up and am having some trouble setting up the peristaltic pumps purchased from FynchBio. To my knowledge we purchased this eVOVLER a while ago, but have not yet used the pumps.  
I connected the pumps to the eVOVLER, the 12V power, and made sure it was on. I was trying to run the pumps from the GUI and it showed that the command was sent and received however there is no movement in the pumps. Any suggestions?

Have you tried directly from the touch-screen? Have you tried multiple pumps? Did you follow each step of the DPU installation?

Looks like there was a faulty serial communication cable. The issue is now resolved thank you.
