Hello, the tubing on one of my pumps tore (see pic) and I’m wondering how to go about replacing. First, what are the specs on the tubing so I can order a replacement? Second, what is the best way to disassemble the pump?

Thanks in advance.

The tubing is 2mm inner diameter x 4mm outer diameter BPT.

Here’s a couple of possible options to buy some: [option1](https://www.amazon.com/Peristaltic-Silicone-Tubing-Laboratory-Flexible/dp/B0CFDM4Y9C?crid=1CKUUC7SJ90ZK&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.ufS4TbA0lUAXzKA6BRR2RdyAvdsmzuLRLhq0kqBCmC2CeNZs44I1qX6mxpgXdEGgL-ERWxoYTOUUHw-l8aGXu4Ft11ycRDgl7_R4UT5y9QKh4QiPEPApyTNEx3dpcMs4z __pdX8jrcXkXyaQg59uwny9j9IntlT0XzAs58IIW1u3WsCsJu648cp_Nj5CVdoMbWOFYYXtWf7V7riIInGLxEck5EIRTKqa5lsHFbxU2IsUZ__ qLinYCqRAijTFaxivH3_-Gc6JH1-rrTkj2901xbimRJZwg0_qc2w4gWYPO7o.bFAotzuLqaA9kJtLQvZ87O6H1EdCQK-hYX8Hr_Dk0O0&dib_tag=se&keywords=BPT+tubing+4+mm&qid=1732550203&s=industrial&sprefix=bpt+tubing+4+mm%2Cindustrial%2C79&sr=1-3)[option2](https://www.tenettech.com/product/saint-gobain-pharmed-bpt-tube-id-2mm-od-4mm-l-1meter).

To replace the tubing, twist the pump head until it unclicks, then pull it off. You can then remove the broken tube, cut a new tube of the same length, and add the connectors from the old tube back.

Best of luck!
