Corroded Ribbon Cable Port

Hi all,

Recently one of our eVOVLERs had a major leak resulting in fluid entering the ribbon cable ports for two vials. We have tested the smart sleeves and ribbon cables and found them to be working fine, but the port itself is the issue. We want to remove the damaged port and replace it with a new one, however it seems that the ports are soldered in a way which makes it difficult to remove. Does anyone know the best way to replace these ports?

Thank you,
Ananya

The easiest thing to do would be to just order a new Smart Sleeve PCB from fyncbio. With proper soldering technique you can remove the connector by using solder wick/flux to remove solder at each pin (should be able to find stuff online but lmk if some extra guidance is necessary).
