Exposure of eVOLVER to UV light in a BSC II

Dear all,

Is there anyone else who has their eVOLVER set up inside a biosafety cabinet?
If so, do you turn on the UV lamp for (additional) decontamination after experiments?

We have the black acrylic splash box that covers the smart-sleeve electronics, but I am not sure if UV exposure is detrimental for (parts of) the eVOLVER. Like for instance the green print plates hanging below the pumps are not covered: could these suffer from long(er) term exposure to UV light?

Any shared experience is highly appreciated.

Kind regards,
Kevin
