Hi everyone! I am Viktoriia, a PhD student, and I am just starting to work with Imane El Meouche with eVOLVER.
I have a question about means of sterilisation of vial caps. Is there some way other than autoclave to sterilise them between experiments? Can they be soaked in diluted ethanol for some time?

Thanks for the question! You can probably sterilize with ethanol/beach but I have never tried myself. If you are using needles, it will probably be ok since those are sterile to begin with. A simple experiment can just be to sterilize with autoclave vs ethanol, setup experiment/ fill with LB without inoculating the culture, and see if anything grows out.
