eVOLVER Connection Error

Hello,

I am having trouble connecting the eVOLVER to the server. When I turn on the system, I get a “eVOLVER Connection Error” on the display window. I am suspecting it may have to do with the RS-485 board, but I did check if it was loose or disconnected, but there is nothing visibly wrong with it. I have another eVOLVER connected on the same router and that one has no trouble connecting the to the server, however, this eVOLVER used to have a connection issue where I had to replace the RS-485. Is there any type of update I can send to the RS-485 instead of having to replace it?

Thank you!

if its a problem with the RS-485 board then it would need to be replaced but the fact that you’ve had to replace it already indicates a potential problem somewhere else. Could you send a picture of the “eVOLVER Connection Error” you are talking about?

I replaced it on a different evolver, but now I think I ran into the same issue with this evolver. This is the error that shows on the eVOLVER:

could you show a picture of the evolver server log? View the Server Log and Restart Server | eVOLVER

send a picture or short video of what the server logs look like

this is all I’m getting from the server log:

sorry for the delay. its not super clear what’s going on here but wondering if you’re still having the same problem. tagging some additional folks here who might be able to help @danhart @Nate_Borders

Could be a screwed up conf.yml? Use this guide to put in a clean one and restart the server

Otherwise would most likely be incorrect installation of the server software more broadly right?
